Six Sigma Black Belt
The Six Sigma Black Belt operates in support of or under the supervision of a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, analyses and solves quality problems and is involved in quality improvement projects. A Black Belt is someone with at least three years of work experience and has demonstrated his or her knowledge and experience on Six Sigma tools and processes.
 
 
 
 
Examination:
The AACPS Six Sigma Black Belt (AACPS SSBB) Exam is based on the AACPS Body of Knowledge for Six Sigma. The Exam is divided into two parts: Theory based exam and Project Submission. Theory based exam contains multiple-choice questions from each major section of the AACPS Body of Knowledge for Six Sigma. The Project has to be prepared in a group under the guidance of Accredited Trainer. The project can be an educational Six Sigma project given by AACPS Accredited Training Partner or AACPS Accredited Trainer or can be demonstrated in your working organisation. The Project has to demonstrate application of maximum Tools and Techniques given in the AACPS Body of Knowledge for Six Sigma. The Project has to be submitted to the AACPS Accredited Training Partner. Exam is been closely monitored and proctored by the Accredited Examination Partners in more than 6000+ Accredited Training and Examination Partners located within 92 countries throughout the world.

Total Questions : 150
Passing Score : 90 Questions (60%)
 
Project Submission
The Project should cover the Tools and Techniques been covered in the AACPS Body of Knowledge for Six Sigma.
Weightage for the Project : 150 marks
Passing Score : 90 marks (60%)
 
Pre-Requisite
In order to achieve the professional certification of AACPS Six Sigma Black Belt (AACPS SSBB) from the Association for Certification and Professional Studies candidate must mandatorily attend the Training conducted by AACPS Accredited Training Partner for the AACPS Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Exam and achieve a passing score that is calculated based on points earned in the exam. The candidate mandatorily needs to AACPS Six Sigma Green Belt Certified or Six Sigma Green Belt certified from an International Qualifying body. The candidate necessarily needs to have 3 years of professional experience working in a project or project demonstrating experience required in order to appear for the AACPS Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Exam.

Preparation
Candidates who wish to appear for the exam it is strongly recommended and required, that Six Sigma training is obtained through an AACPS Accredited Training Partner and AACPS Accredited Trainer prior to appearing for the AACPS Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Exam. Review the AACPS Body of Knowledge and references material provided by AACPS Accredited Training Partner. Take advantage of the Accredited Courseware and sample exam provided by Accredited Training Partner.
 
Certification
The result of the AACPS Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Exam will be declared within 30 working days from the exam date. Upon successfully clearing the examination through AACPS Accredited Examination Centre successful candidates will receive a Soft copy Certificate within 15 working days and Hard copy of the certificate within 90 working days from the date of the declaration of Exam result. Successful Candidate name will be updated in Successful Candidate List within 90 days from the date of the declaration of Exam result. Professionals will also receive the AACPS Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Marks and AACPS Code of Conduct which should be followed while using the information on public profiles such as LinkedIn. Professionals may use the designation AACPS Six Black Belt Certified or AACPS SSBB Certified or any approved variation of the designation in accordance with the AACPS Code of Conduct.
