ISO 31001 Certification levels
ISO 31000 is intended to be a family of standards relating to risk management codified by the International Organization for Standardization. The purpose of ISO 31000:2009 is to provide principles and generic guidelines on risk management. ISO 31000 seeks to provide a universally recognised paradigm for practitioners and companies employing risk management processes to replace the myriad of existing standards, methodologies and paradigms that differed between industries, subject matters and regions.

ISO 31000:2009 provides generic guidelines for the design, implementation and maintenance of risk management processes throughout an organization. This approach to formalizing risk management practices will facilitate broader adoption by companies who require an enterprise risk management standard that accommodates multiple ‘silo-centric’ management systems.
The scope of this approach to risk management is to enable all strategic, management and operational tasks of an organization throughout projects, functions, and processes to be aligned to a common set of risk management objectives.
Regular monitoring of Risk Management standards will help candidate achieve and maintain international ISO 31001 accreditation and will equip candidates with the skills to tailor his / her own internal audit framework.
 
Examination:
The AACPS ISO 31001 Certification Exam contains multiple-choice questions from each major section of the AACPS ISO 31001. The Training is been conducted by AACPS Accredited Training Partner and AACPS Accredited Trainer (ISO 31001 External Auditor). Exam is been closely monitored and proctored by the Accredited Examination Partners in more than 6000+ Accredited Training and Examination Partners located within 92 countries throughout the world. AACPS Accredited Trainer has significant hands on implementation and auditing experience in ISO 31001.
 
Preparation
The candidates who wish to appear for the exam are strongly recommended and required to obtain ISO 31001 training for the respective module through an AACPS Accredited Training Partner and AACPS Accredited Trainer prior to appearing for the AACPS ISO 31001 certification Exams. Review the reference materials provided by the AACPS Accredited Training Partner. Take advantage of the Accredited Courseware and sample exam provided by Accredited Training Partner.

ISO 31001 Internal Auditor

AACPS ISO 31001 Internal Auditor Certification will help Risk Management Internal Auditors to conduct effective internal audits against the updated ISO 31001 standard. The candidates need to undergo Training from the AACPS Accredited Training Partner and AACPS Accredited Trainer (ISO 31001 External Auditor). The Training conducted by AACPS Accredited Training Partner will cover all aspects necessary for Internal Audits from Adaptive Processes.

The training program will also provide both technical knowledge and practical skills essential to become competent Internal Auditor. The course is highly interactive, not only with reference to answering queries, but also sharing the experience gathered through regular audits & working experience in the industry. The course includes series of lectures with individuals for better learning.

Pre-Requisite
In order to achieve the professional certification of AACPS ISO 31001 Internal Auditor from the Association for Certification and Professional Studies candidate must mandatorily attend the Training conducted by AACPS Accredited Training Partner for the AACPS ISO 31001 Internal Auditor Certification Exam. Successful Completion
In order to satisfactorily complete the AACPS ISO 31001 Internal Auditor certification candidate must attend all parts the course been conducted by AACPS Accredited Training Partner. The AACPS Accredited Trainer (ISO 31001 External Auditor) will perform continuous assessment of the candidate while the training been imparted to the candidates. Candidate must also achieve passing score in theory exam.

Passing Score : 25 Questions (50%)

ISO 31001 Lead Implementer

AACPS ISO 31001 Lead Implementer certification will equip the candidate with the implementation process by explaining the requirements of ISO 31001 and how they can be applied using international best practice methods. AACPS ISO 31001 Implementer certification guides on a step-by-step approach how to develop an implementation plan, create the necessary documentation, monitor the Risk Management System, and achieve continual improvement.

Candidate must demonstrate acceptable levels of performance in all the modules of the exam. During the course the AACPS Accredited Trainer (ISO 31001 External Auditor) will test each student's achievement of the learning objectives. These tests must be based on practical tasks and activities, with defined outputs that students must produce. Candidate has to demonstrate the output in form of model outputs and a marking scheme, checklist, guidelines to be followed which are assessed by the AACPS Accredited Trainer. AACPS ISO 31001 Lead Implementer certification provides an opportunity to the candidate to demonstrate his/her own competence in the field of ISO 31001. Each candidate’s performance is recorded on continuous assessment sheet by the AACPS Accredited Trainer.

ISO 31001 Lead Auditor

AACPS ISO 31001 Lead Auditor certification makes sure that the candidate is aware of the principles and practices of effective Risk Management audits in accordance with ISO 31001. This certification will provide Guidelines for auditing Risk Management Systems. AACPS Accredited Trainer (ISO 31001 External Auditor) with relevant experience in the field of auditing will guide delegates through the entire audit process, from initiating the audit through to conducting audit follow-up.               .                                                                        

AACPS ISO 31001 Lead Auditor certification training will make sure that the candidates will gain necessary auditing skills developed through a balance of formal classroom tutorials, practical role-playing, group workshops, and open forum discussions. AACPS ISO 31001 Lead Auditor describes the purpose of a Risk Management and Risk Management audit. AACPS ISO 31001 Lead Auditor certification defines the role of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up a Risk Management audit to establish conformity in accordance with ISO 31001.

Certification Result
The result of the AACPS ISO 31001 Certification Exam will be declared within 30 working days from the exam date. Upon successfully clearing the examination through AACPS Accredited Examination Centre successful candidates will receive a Soft copy Certificate within 15 working days and Hard copy of the certificate within 90 working days from the date of the declaration of Exam result. Successful Candidate name will be updated in Successful Candidate List within 90 days from the date of the declaration of Exam result. Professionals will also receive the AACPS ISO 31001 Marks and AACPS Code of Conduct which should be followed while using the information on public profiles such as LinkedIn. Professionals may use the designation approved in accordance with the AACPS Code of Conduct.
